Bathroom Campout

This is what we like to call bathroom campout.  Savannah is such a spoiled busy little girl that she does not like to stay in her exersaucer while I take a shower.  She screams at the top of her lungs and cries so hard that I just cannot enjoy a quick shower at all anymore.  So, I got out some pillows and my college comforter and threw some toys down for her to play with and she actually enjoys herself! Only for 5 minutes max though!

Shopping!

On Monday, we made a dashing trip to Searcy so my mom and I could go to the Rhea Lana Consignment sale! I may have blogged about these before, but...you guys.  These sales are so awesome! Everything is in great condition and everything is so cute.  They have everything you could ever need for babies and kids, and they only happen twice a year in participating cities.  There's one in my city too, but Searcy seems better somehow.  The clothes are just cuter I think. 

Here are all the toys we got.  Some are for Savannah for Christmas and her 1st birthday, some are to donate to her day care class, two are for our beach trip coming up, and some are for CC and Grandad's house.

Here are all the shoes and socks/tights we found! I figure she'll be walking around a year, so we hopefully got the right sizes!  We also found a few cute hairbows!

Not only did we find awesome deals at Rhea Lana's, but CC and Grandad brought back some great goodies from their Wisconsin trip! They were in Osh Kosh and went to the Osh Kosh B'gosh store! Savannah got the cutest clothes! (please note her pulling on Grandad's hair and nose.  Her favorite things to do to him. ha!)

Grandad also found her the cutest children's book about a little pilot girl and her travels. 

I think her favorite thing about travelling up there was seeing these two! CC got Savannah the cutest things at Rhea Lana's and Grandad brought back adorable stuff, but she's smiling the biggest just hanging out with the two of them! (sorry she's naked,  she just loves to be without clothes.)

Our new "rug"

You may have noticed our new "rug" in yesterday's post.  We have all hardwood floors throughout the house, and only ONE rug (in Savannah's room).  She is trying so hard to crawl and move around, but our floor is just to hard. I have pretty bad allergies which is why we keep the rugs and carpets out but I knew I needed something for her to play on.  I looked and looked online for a playmat for her that would be nice and calm, and something I could look at for a while, but ended up getting this bright loud Zoo Playspot from Skiphop.  I mean, I just figured if I'm gonna have a mat in the floor, she might as well love it.  And it is really cute and fun.  Savannah already thinks it's awesome.  So do the cats.  :)

Minnie girl

Savannah got this adorable dress from her Nana and Gran back when they went to Disney World in March.  She is fitting in it perfectly now! She thinks she is pretty cute :)

Hah! Apparently Cadence had an important phone call to make. He pulled this all around the house.

[And, yes, Cadence appears to be putting on some weight. :) Don't judge!]

Crazy Hair

Savannah's hair is getting long enough that it is starting to stick up in crazy places.  She woke up earlier with one side sticking straight up!

It's hard to see here because the curtain is the same shade as her hair. [and no, she doesn't sleep naked, I was just getting her dressed]

It reminded me that every day when I pick her up from daycare, my car is SO HOT and I can't stand to put her in the seat yet, so we sit in the front seat with the A/C going high.  Makes her hair even crazier!

See? At least she's got some hair!

Our Weekend!

We drove up to Searcy Friday night and right after we got there (and ate dinner) we jumped in the pool for a little starry swimming!

Savannah thought it was really cool!

After a long night of less sleep than we all wanted, we got ready and went swimming again Saturday morning!

She was so excited to have a bikini like her mama.  If only she'd be as excited to wear her sunglasses as her mama. Hah!

We all did some swimming and relaxing!

Savannah swam for over an hour! I think we have a little water baby-she just kicks and splashes and giggles the whole time she's in the pool!

Then we all came back in to get ready to grab lunch and Savannah tried out my old rocking chair.

She was rocking in it and everything!

We came back Saturday night and went over to Anna and Aaron's for a tasty rib dinner.  Then we got up and went to church Sunday morning! We went over to Nana and Gran's Sunday night for another tasty dinner. 

It was a great weekend and we saw almost all of our family in one weekend! I'm already ready for the weekend again. :)
