A few firsts

Savannah said her first whole sentence while we were at Disney! She and Birc were playing swords with some coffee stirrer straws, and Birc was biting her's sometimes to be funny.  She said "No bite, daddy!" We cheered for her so big and were so proud of her!

She also has a sort-of joke that she made up and thinks is hilarious.  Maybe because we laugh hysterically at her each time she does it.  When we're putting her pjs on, and putting her arms through the long sleeves, she purposefully keeps her hands inside the seam around the wrist and waves at us really big and says "hi!" with her hands hidden.  Then she laughs and laughs and is so proud of herself for making us laugh.  It's so cute. :)

Savannah also has started "calling" the kitties when she wants them to come to her.  When Birc or I (or any Patterson/Walker, for that matter) call for the cats we make a clicking sound with our tongues and they come running.  Savannah has figured out how to make it now and she does it all the time! She even sometimes does it when she is looking for me or Birc, or when CC was here she would say, CC? {click, click, click, click...}
Happy Weekend, Y'all!

Dinner Out

When we got back from Disney, one of the first things we wanted to do was see Nana and Gran! So we met them up at their country club for a buffet dinner.  It was very tasty and Savannah especially loved her chocolate cake.  For half the meal she decided to be left-handed, and then suddenly she switched to her right hand. She can't decide yet! We had a great time and the weather was so breezy and nice so we played outside for a while after.

adorable! Savannah loves her Nana and "Gan"

Disney 2013

[this isn't the post (s) I was hoping to do for Disney, but Savannah has been struck with some invisible illness or something that kept her up literally until 4 AM Tuesday night so we are all struggling majorly to get anything done besides sleep and work.  Thankfully CC and Nana came to the rescue]

We went to Disney with my family last week and had the BEST time! I'm just going to share my favorite photos and let them speak for themselves, but just a warning, there are a ton so you'll have to just skip this post if you don't want to see a million pictures.

Savannah's favorite things: boat rides, choo choo train rides, parades, princesses, shows, and shopping.

Savannah's least favorite things: Mickey Mouse, heat, riding in the stroller while it was so hot, and waiting in line.

It was a great trip and I can't wait to take her back again someday with her little sibling!

Here we are going to the airport, SCM sleeping on the plane like a champ, and the little baggies I made to give to our neighbors on the plane rides :) They were a great ice breaker and everyone that sat near us thought SCM was a doll.

not a fan, but didn't have to go to close so she didn't cry

of course I bought her a light up toy for the parade.  I had to!

she liked Donald!

Belle/Beast castle for lunch and she slept thru it!

Savannah thought D was the coolest thing EVER and wanted to only walk if she could hold her hand and did every move she did. It was so cute :)

I know it is dark but it is all 5 of us on the first night before Anna and Aaron got there

It took us like 10 minutes to wake her up every morning to go out again to the parks.  She was exhausted :)

kiss face!

leads to kisses!

I can only speak for myself, but as a disney lover, I had a ball and think everyone else did too! Thanks to my mom and dad for such an awesome trip, full of wonderful and fun and great memories!
