Savannah Is Five!

I can't believe my first baby is 5! She's such a beautiful, loving, thoughtful, complimentary, helpful, serving, smart, inquisitive and wonderful girl. I can't imagine one day without this girl!

We had a big party for her on Saturday and her friends, aunts and uncles, and grandparents came over to celebrate! Unfortunately it rained cats and dogs during the party so we were limited to 20+ kids and families inside the house and garage but we made it work. She requested a Pink Butterfly party (I'm seeing a theme from Halloween!) so I did all I could to make that happen. We had butterfly crafts, a face painter (who could paint butterflies among other things), a butterfly piΓ±ata, butterfly games in the garage, and butterfly decorations. She was really into the planning this year and loved helping me pick out everything and then decorate the day of the party.

We went out for a dual bday dinner to celebrate Aaron who's birthday was the day after Savannah's party day and had a great time!
All tuckered out from celebrating all day.
Last night of being 4 officially:
Birthday morning! Donut holes in mama's bed--can't be beat!
We slept in and went to school late just in time for her party for morning snack, then I brought her home after lunch. (I've been a little sick and was home sick today anyway)

After laying around all afternoon playing and watching Tv with my favorite girl, we went to pick up Walker from school, waited on Daddy to get home, and went to dinner and play at Playtime Pizza. It's like a Chuck E Cheese for older kids. It has bowling and go carts and such in addition to all those games. We had a great time there but my phone died before we walked in so I have no photos! When we got home Savannah requested an ice cream sundae with marshmallows and candles. So we sang one more time and then opened 3 more presents from us and Walker!
Birthday #5, that's a wrap!

Savannah is about 40 pounds and around 43 inches tall (I think?). She likes to wear loose clothes (mainly dresses) and a lot of pink. She prefers her nails to be long and painted and only likes her hair styled one way: pulled to the side in a little ponytail. We just had her first semester conference with her PreK4 teacher and she said she is ready for Kindergarten next year! I will really shed some tears then!😭

Savannah's favorites:
Color: pink
Food: fruity candy (not a food)
Friend: Charlee
Thing to play: baby
Thing to play outside: run with friends
Book: Ella Bella Ballerina and the Nutcracker
Show: Little Einsteins
Lovie: Main Bunny Flopsy
Who do you love? All my family and friends and class and teacher!

So so thankful for this girl and all the joy she's brought to my life! I can't wait to see what 5 brings!

November Photo Favorites

November was a long month. Birc was gone for 3 weeks and there were several holidays! CC came and helped out a lot so we could survive without him thankfully!

Also in this month: Walker avoided the camera at all costs and Savannah was extremely interested in having her photo taken, so this month looks so lopsided with tons of photos of her and very few of him! Hopefully just a phase!

At the beginning of the month, Savannah got some good practice with my friend's newborn baby!

CC let the kids sleep until a normal time and brought them to school each day she was there.

Halloween lived on...
Birc came home some on the weekends! And Savannah was such a sweet sister to cuddle her brother here:
Savannah wrote out her birthday list for the first time: (smiley face pillow, unicorn, Barbie bride)
We had hot chocolate and cupcakes on the kitchen floor one night. (Barely surviving without Birc!)
Crazy kittens are cat-sized now!
Savannah was so proud of her grown up outfit and scarf! She walked around all day with so much confidence and it made my day!
She had a dentist appointment at ACH that was not scary at all!
But the pre-appointment anxiety caught up with her and she passed out.
She wore pigtails for me!
And posed!
Performed in traditional service for the first time! She did great!
We had parent observation night at ballet. Walker wants to take tap so badly. He wanted to be out there the whole time!

He cleaned his plate from Nana's an hour after we got home! (He's been struggling lately with eating at dinner time. He eats well about an hour after we are all finished.)
This curious cat got stuck in a hinge and ripped one of his claws half off. So that was a fun $130 at the vet two different times since of course it got infected after the first visit. πŸ™„πŸ™„
Walker being silly. πŸ˜‚
Thanksgiving Feast day at school!
Walker got to bring the school bear home with him for the weekend. He was thrilled to show Benny the Bear a good time!
Cuddle kittens.
As crazy as they are and as crazy as they make me, they are so sweet to the kids and let them do anything to them and never bite or scratch the kids.
We used our fire pit and had Anna and Aaron over for dinner and s'mores outside for the first cold weather we have seen!
More of Benny the Bear
Savannah's been working hard to drink whole cups of water at a time (she's never thirsty and if we didn't prompt her would probably drink 2 ounces only each day.
She had PJ day at school--her favorite!!
More "grown up outfits" she called it.
Thanksgiving morning we stayed in bed until almost 11 and had cranberry orange scones, cinnamon rolls, bacon, and chocolate milk. YUM!! (Clearly the pregnant lady planned the menu-hah!)
On Thanksgiving evening we went over to Forrest City to see Birc's families. First stop, Poppy's house!
Second stop: Kathy and Buddy's with the kids' second cousins!
Then we relaxed a day and went up to Searcy. I took the pies.

Out to dinner at a school event after Thanksgiving week and all the leftovers had been eaten!

Last day of the month...
Savannah wasn't feeling 100% at school and I was headed out to do the center's monthly shopping, so I just took her with me. She got tired really quickly and couldn't believe I had to buy so much! After 5 stores and 4 hours she was done with it all!

Sweet girl. C'mon Christmas Season! And I think there are a few birthdays this month too!!πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰
