Savannah Is Five!

I can't believe my first baby is 5! She's such a beautiful, loving, thoughtful, complimentary, helpful, serving, smart, inquisitive and wonderful girl. I can't imagine one day without this girl!

We had a big party for her on Saturday and her friends, aunts and uncles, and grandparents came over to celebrate! Unfortunately it rained cats and dogs during the party so we were limited to 20+ kids and families inside the house and garage but we made it work. She requested a Pink Butterfly party (I'm seeing a theme from Halloween!) so I did all I could to make that happen. We had butterfly crafts, a face painter (who could paint butterflies among other things), a butterfly piñata, butterfly games in the garage, and butterfly decorations. She was really into the planning this year and loved helping me pick out everything and then decorate the day of the party.

We went out for a dual bday dinner to celebrate Aaron who's birthday was the day after Savannah's party day and had a great time!
All tuckered out from celebrating all day.
Last night of being 4 officially:
Birthday morning! Donut holes in mama's bed--can't be beat!
We slept in and went to school late just in time for her party for morning snack, then I brought her home after lunch. (I've been a little sick and was home sick today anyway)

After laying around all afternoon playing and watching Tv with my favorite girl, we went to pick up Walker from school, waited on Daddy to get home, and went to dinner and play at Playtime Pizza. It's like a Chuck E Cheese for older kids. It has bowling and go carts and such in addition to all those games. We had a great time there but my phone died before we walked in so I have no photos! When we got home Savannah requested an ice cream sundae with marshmallows and candles. So we sang one more time and then opened 3 more presents from us and Walker!
Birthday #5, that's a wrap!

Savannah is about 40 pounds and around 43 inches tall (I think?). She likes to wear loose clothes (mainly dresses) and a lot of pink. She prefers her nails to be long and painted and only likes her hair styled one way: pulled to the side in a little ponytail. We just had her first semester conference with her PreK4 teacher and she said she is ready for Kindergarten next year! I will really shed some tears then!😭

Savannah's favorites:
Color: pink
Food: fruity candy (not a food)
Friend: Charlee
Thing to play: baby
Thing to play outside: run with friends
Book: Ella Bella Ballerina and the Nutcracker
Show: Little Einsteins
Lovie: Main Bunny Flopsy
Who do you love? All my family and friends and class and teacher!

So so thankful for this girl and all the joy she's brought to my life! I can't wait to see what 5 brings!
