Outside Fun

Busy busy week around here for Mama.  I've got the last big push toward the end of my summer program this week with lots of events and appointments going on so blogging might be scarce the rest of the week.

Savannah is lucky to have such a fun daddy who is always up for an adventure even when it's 90 degrees outside with mosquitos EVERYWHERE.

Weekend Pictures

We had a pretty good weekend.  Not lots of sleep and not lots of naps but still lots of fun with the cousins!  I'm hoping the sleep boycott Savannah has been doing is leaving quickly. :)

we had a Sunday School party and Savannah was the youngest mobile kid (several newborns there though!) and she chased ALL of the older kids around the backyard and this was her about 1minute after we left our friends' house.  :) 

Savannah comes with me Sunday mornings to warm up for choir and this morning she was serious about singing and holding her (my) music and watching the Director.  :)

Out With the Old, In With the New

We are updating some of our lighting around the house.  We got a ceiling fan installed for baby brother's room, new hallway lighting, and new outdoor lighting.  All of the lighting in the whole house was bright shiny brass when we moved in and although I hate it, we've somehow lived with most of it for almost 4 years now.  Here and there we changed some out but this was the most we've done all at once.

the lights we picked can be installed either up or down, and over by our garage, we decided to put them facing downward and I like it either way so I'm glad we have it both ways!

Cousins!!!

My cousins are here to visit and that's pretty much all I can think about! I have SO much fun with them and think they are SO cool.  I talk about them all day when I'm not around them and then say their names about 100 times while I am around them.  Everyone can tell I am very excited they are here for a visit!

Gran gets quite the workout when we are all 3 around.  I am a handful on my own but add two more to the mix and he doesn't have to set aside any time to work out cause we are so much work! Can't wait for tomorrow and more fun!! :)

Whaaat???

You mean it's only Wednesday?!?!?

Seriously though, the weeks are crawling by it feels like! The summer program that I run is SO busy in the summer and I am always ready for school to start about mid-July.  These last 3 weeks and 3 days [who's counting, right?] seem like they'll never pass.  But they will I am sure.  :) Happy Wednesday!

Salsa Girl

So, somebody loves her salsa! She dips her chip in and seriously just licks the salsa off. Doesn't even eat the chip.  I can't even do that, it's too spicy!

She finally saw my iphone camera up and said, "I cheese!"  hilarious. [and a little bit of a creepy smile, if I'm being honest.]

after a kind of rough week, we ended it sharing a vanilla "mini" milkshake from Sonic.  She thought that was awesome!

Saturday morning Savannah was trying so hard to get her PJs off! 

 She's really doing well dressing herself.  She put a shirt on all by herself this weekend! she can almost pull her socks on by herself as well and can pull shorts up after I get her feet in them.  Obviously not so much with the PJs (they to have a snap at the top with a zipper so it looks hard)

She's giving Caddo kisses through the screen.  So cute.

Birc and I also had a great date night thanks to Nana and Gran, and had a nice day at church, got lots done around the house, and I went to Rhea Lana's for fall clothes for Savannah and baby clothes for baby brother! IT was CRAZY busy at the pre-sale but worth it because I came home with tons of great stuff.
