Happy Birthday, Walker!

I can't believe Walker is one!! Here are just a smidgin of my favorite photos of my sweet boy. I'll share all about his birthday festivities in the next few days. I would like to thank everyone in the past year that has sent good wishes and prayers for him. It started out crazy this time last year and I am so thankful to God for healing Walker. I love each of you for helping out and being there for my little family and for Walker! I have been tearing up all day thinking of how far he's come and what a little fighter he is. From this day a year ago he made sure we all knew how strong he is. Walker has the easiest personality and loves his family so much. He is such a happy soul, as Birc says.

Tuesday

Just a great Tuesday yesterday with wonderful weather! I can't believe it's fall and I really can't believe my tiny 5 pound baby boy is turning 1 next Tuesday!!

Meet Me In St Louis

Birc and I went to St Louis this past weekend with his parents and had SUCH a great time! The kids stayed with my parents and had a great time too! It was the longest I've ever left them so I was nervous but everybody did so well. (Including me!) 

We went shopping, out to a fancy restaurant, I got a manicure, went to Cardinal Nation (the big place that is all things Cardinal and Budwiser), we rested, we watched the Cardinals play a baseball game, and then came home! It was a great weekend trip! While we were gone, CC and Grandad had loads of fun with the babies. They went to the fair, played with every toy in the house, rode the horsies that used to be Anna's and mine, got donuts on Saturday morning, and just had fun in general. (And got Cardinals shirts upon our return!)
