Well Savannah's birthday was a great one! Friday the 5th she took brownies to her class and had a little afternoon snack party. I got to pop in! Her awesome teacher made her a birthday crown. All pink, of course.

Saturday on her bday she slept late and had donut holes for breakfast.

Then party folks started arriving! The party was at 11 and we had hot dogs and such for lunch.
When I asked Savannah what she wanted to decorate her party with, she said over and over, "I want a rainbow rainbow go go go party!" And I have no idea what that is but we went with rainbows. I thought it was fun :)

The cake was massive.

Grandad did a little magic!!! We were so excited about that!

Savannah blew out her candles.

And we opened presents. It was a lot of presents. Next year I want to say no gifts. Is that horrible for a 4 year old to get no gifts? Or maybe we just won't open them at the party. I don't know but it was so much chaos.

Her "boyfriend" above. Oh my.

Y'all. After having about 20 toddlers at our house, it was like a tornado hit!

After our friends left, our families stayed and she opened those presents. That was a lot of fun and less chaotic. We also celebrated Aaron's birthday for dinner which was two days before.

Savannah ended her birthday very happy and blessed. At the end of the night, I was reading her a story and when I was finished, I said "I can't believe my baby girl is 3!" And she replied, "I wish I could go back to being just 2 once more..." It was adorable and innocent and such a grown-up statement too. Made me sad but I wouldn't trade my sweet 3 year old for anything!! Happy birthday Savannah!
