Savannah's 3rd Birthday

Well Savannah's birthday was a great one! Friday the 5th she took brownies to her class and had a little afternoon snack party. I got to pop in!  Her awesome teacher made her a birthday crown. All pink, of course.

Saturday on her bday she slept late and had donut holes for breakfast.
Then party folks started arriving! The party was at 11 and we had hot dogs and such for lunch.

When I asked Savannah what she wanted to decorate her party with, she said over and over, "I want a rainbow rainbow go go go party!" And I have no idea what that is but we went with rainbows. I thought it was fun :)
The cake was massive.

Grandad did a little magic!!! We were so excited about that!
Savannah blew out her candles.
And we opened presents. It was a lot of presents. Next year I want to say no gifts. Is that horrible for a 4 year old to get no gifts? Or maybe we just won't open them at the party. I don't know but it was so much chaos.
Her "boyfriend" above. Oh my.

Y'all. After having about 20 toddlers at our house, it was like a tornado hit!

After our friends left, our families stayed and she opened those presents. That was a lot of fun and less chaotic. We also celebrated Aaron's birthday for dinner which was two days before.

Savannah ended her birthday very happy and blessed. At the end of the night, I was reading her a story and when I was finished, I said "I can't believe my baby girl is 3!" And she replied, "I wish I could go back to being just 2 once more..." It was adorable and innocent and such a grown-up statement too. Made me sad but I wouldn't trade my sweet 3 year old for anything!! Happy birthday Savannah!

Thanksgiving 2014

I took next to no photos at Thanksgiving, and since I'm blogging from my phone, I don't have anyone else's photos either. We went to Searcy on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and stayed literally until Sunday night! It was SO very relaxing and nice. We ate, slept, decorated the tree at my parents, did a few art projects, ate some more, and watched some tv. (Sports)

I think it's finally time to retire Savannah's Thanksgiving dress-turned-shirt. CC made it for her when she was 11 months old and she wore it then as a dress, last year as a tunic, and this year as a shirt. Time sure does fly. I feel like she should still be that tiny baby!
This year

2012

We had a lot to be thankful for this year and especially for our family and loved ones. Happy belated Thanksgiving 😀

Halloween 2014

Y'all. I really have decided halloween is my least favorite holiday. But whatever. I always liked it growing up so hopefully my kids do too. Birc was gone this year for work on Halloween but we had lots of events prior to the big night. We wore our costumes FOUR times, though. We went to the church fall carnival, which was fun. We went to our classes in costume the day before Halloween. Little more stressful. We went to a Halloween party at a friends. Very difficult to get the costumes on by this point. Then we get to Halloween night and everybody's screaming at the sight of their costumes, and definitely won't put them on without a wrestling match!
Next year we are just pulling things out of our dress up chest each night, their choice.

Anyway, Savannah was Jasmine and Walker was a monkey (Abu?!?!) Halloween night my parents came to help and we trick or treated at Nana and Gran's (where Walker slept in the car) and Anna and Aaron's.
