Here goes nothing!

Well, here we go! I'm totally jumping on the bandwagon with the creation of this blog, as our lives are about to turn upside down and it could get interesting!  With baby Savannah Cate due to arrive around December 12, Birc and I are about to embark on a serious adventure.  I'm not going to make any promises about keeping up with this blog every day or even every week, but I imagine it will be really nice to look back on if I do stick with it. [I'm thinking it won't be too hard with all the prego insomnia I'm experiencing.] However, I've got lots to live up to, on one side of the family anyway, with my cousins Keath and Stephie keeping awesome blogs up and running with daily happenings and such.  Stephie had the great idea to start her blog off with a few 'get-to-know-you' posts, and for lack of any other ideas, I'm stealing hers. :)  Check back to hear all about the good life Birc and I are living in!
