She had a great time at the Wonder Place, it was our first time to go and it was a hit! All of her little friends came except 3, and it was crazy the whole time! She was running around just screaming with excitement. So cute. This party was Pink and Orange. Her pick. We had pink and orange cupcakes, goldfish, little cuties oranges, pink M&M's, and pink cookies. Very little decor, and it was just what this mama ordered 2 weeks after bringing home my preemie :) Nana helped me make the goodie bags, and they had a Kit Kat, cool sunglasses, a mini-play doh, a counting book from the target dollar aisle (packs of 3 for $1, can't beat it!), and maybe something else I cannot remember!
The whole time people were singing Happy Birthday, she had her hands in her mouth, acting all shy!
Then she did this!
Then there were gifts, and thank goodness I had lots of helpers, because Savannah was easily distracted and it could have taken all night.
We never heard a peep out of Walker for the entire 2-hour party.
Then we went back to our house for a quick (late) dinner of pizza and had our ladybug party! Savannah made the table "centerpiece" which was ladybugs. She colored and helped me stick on the dots, and then we stuck the ladybugs on red and white dotted paper straws and stuck it in a clear vase with that red paper fringe-y stuff.
Just a funny picture of Savannah petting Cadence with the backs of her hands. And when she does this, she goes Aaahhh, in like a singsongy voice. It's adorable.
After an embarrassingly large present haul, she was quite excited for her new things!
And Cadence was happy for the tissue paper!
There's her cake!
Also, knowing the weather was going to be bad on her birthday, Nana and Gran came over the night before on December 5 and brought her her presents so she could play with it on her birthday! An adorable snowman dress and a scooter! We've only done the scooter inside so far. She needs help [let's be honest, she needs someone to do all of the…] steering. :)
Savannah is a sweet smart sassy girl and I love her more every day. She is such a blessing from God and I am so thankful for her. I call her my sunshine baby because she brings me so much happiness. There is no telling what she will be able to do in her life but I know she will do it well. At 2, she can count to 20, sing her ABC's (missing a few letters here and there), she knows her whole name and everybody else's names (Mama is Amy, etc.) She knows how to work my iPhone, turn on and off different things like the TV or Walker's toys, feed herself (she hasn't decided if she is left or right-handed yet! I can't wait to see one day!), feed the cats their food (or her food), take out the trash with Daddy, fold the laundry with Mama, jump, tickle, run, ask "why?", recognize lots of letters (all the letters in her name, plus many others. Some she still misses though), "read" (she has books memorized and can "read" them), color, play with play-doh, count her fingers and toes (and carrots and peas on her plate), and give the best hugs and kisses. She knows what going on the potty means, and has gone before, but she is not into it in the least, she knows how to pray and who we are praying to (the prayer we say that's easy for her is "God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for our food. Amen" and she can say the whole thing.), she can mostly dress herself but cannot work any hair accessories, and can tell us how she's feeling or what she's thinking. She will say, "I'm sad because I want my mommy" or "It's amazing! I love it!", or " I crying" or "Daddy's so silly!" She tells us about her day when she's been at school and her stories are hilarious. She knows SO MANY songs and sings them all day long. She loves to watch princesses on TV and absolutely loves the movie Finding Nemo, and Tangled is a close second ("PaPunzel" is what she calls it which sounds so cute from her!)
There are so many more things I could list if I had the time :) I just love this age and for the most part, cannot figure out why the "2's" are so terrible? Savannah is much easier now than she was in her infant colic stage. And with that, I'm all done recapping her bday. :) Love you baby girl!

A sweeter birthday girl and celebrations could not be possible! And Walker was a perfect gentleman letting his sister be the big cheese at the fun parties! Happy second birthday and beyond, Savannah !
The party was so fun for the kids and a perfect set up for the parents/grandparents. Watching Savannah run and play with her many friends was exciting. She is such a special little girl and a little brother that was so quiet for the party (bet that changes next year!).
Loved this post! We are lucky to have such an awesome 2-year old sweetie for a niece
awww..she's as cute as a ladybug! so glad both parties were a hit!!
