4th of July Long Weekend

We had a most wonderful holiday weekend! We saw all of our favorite people in the world and spent quality time with them which is just SO nice. The only downer was poor Walker had pinkeye and an ear infection. But he's such a good baby and such a trooper you couldn't even tell.  Friday we hung out all day with Anna and Aaron in downtown LR, going to the Clinton Library, browsing the Rivermarket, then to the Traveler's baseball game and watched the fireworks over the river. Saturday we drove up to Searcy to spend the day poolside and just relax with my parents. Savannah got her first swim lesson from Anna and Walker did too! (Walker is going to be such a little fish-he was so brave in the water!) We had the super tasty new pizza from the Club, and drove home after 9 with two sleeping babies. Sunday we went to church and enjoyed the big Celebrate America service and lunch with our church friends and then went to the PV pool with Nana and Gran. Stopped at home for naps and then went back over for steak dinners! It wrapped up the weekend nicely! I wish it was always a 3 day weekend!!

Holiday weekends can be so special and y'all certainly made the rounds. We loved having all who came, missed Aaron, and look forward to the next visit here!

looks like a great long weekend! so glad you got to see everyone! Love seeing glimpses of that PV pool too - I haven't been there in so long but it doesn't look like much has changed!
