Savannah at 3

I did the little 2X/year interview with Savannah again on her birthday a month ago and here is what she says:

What is your favorite movie? Ariel
What is your favorite TV show? Mulan (??-we've never watched this!)
What is your favorite book? Flower books
Do you have a specific favorite book? yes the flower book (??)
What is your favorite thing to do outside? Go swing big!
Who is your favorite friend? Samara
What is your favorite thing to play inside? princess puzzles
Who do you love? Samara, mama, daddy, Walker, myself (points to herself), Santa
What is your favorite song? Let it Go
Who are your other friends? Daddy, Mama
Who is your teacher? Ms. Angie and I love her
Is there anything else you want to tell me about turning three? (shakes head yes) I love you!

Savannah is 30 pounds and 36.5 inches tall.  She is in the 35% for height and 45% for weight.  Dr. Aaron says she looks just perfect and we are happy with everything she's doing! She's eating well, her conversation and vocabulary is very advanced for her age, and she is of course smart as a whip. She is perfect with pottying and is not taking any miralax anymore.   Things she needs to work on are sleeping more (going to bed earlier. this will happen when she's 30 probably) and drinking more water/milk throughout the day.  Poor girl consumes only about 8 ounces of water per day it seems. She just is completely not interested in drinking anything ever and it makes this mama crazy considering her kidney condition.  Which she goes for her yearly checkup on that in April. 

Savannah loves to eat fruit and yogurt most. She loves to sing and dance. She loves to be tickled and have everything pink.  She really loves Walker and loves her mama and daddy. She likes school a lot better than ever before but she would still rather stay at home in her PJs all day if she had a choice.  Her favorite friends are Charlee, Caroline, Samara, and Anna King.  She likes to have a small braid and her nails and toenails painted pink.  She despises any sort of clothing on her legs: leggings, tights, pants, stockings, anything.  It makes getting dressed worse than pulling teeth. She wants to wear dresses every day with bare legs.  She does not like to have her hair up in a ponytail and she does not like to wear tennis shoes.  She is a great sharer and takes care of her brother in the sweetest ways. She will go get him a graham cracker (his fave) or sing him a lullaby if he's crying.  She will tell him in the car, "we're almost home, baby Walker. Don't cry baby brother. Mama will take care of you".  It is the sweetest thing.  

She still loves her "main Flopsy" which she calls Maing for some reason. It's very odd.  She sleeps with about 10 animals and babies and about 10 blankets on her bed, on top of the sheets and under no covers.  She goes to bed around 10 and gets up when we wake her up for school. If it is Saturday or Sunday, she sleeps until 9:30 or 10.  She takes a nap at school for an hour and a half but on the weekends she does not nap so we can get her into bed earlier.  

She is a precious little ray of sunshine and is SO fun to be around these days. She has the greatest stories and imagination. She talks on the phone like a 13 year old to her CC.  She bosses her brother around and he loves it.  She melts my heart and I am thankful for her every day.  Can't believe she's three!
