The Beach!

We went to the beach mid-August and Witta (our van) took us the whole way! We had a wonderful time and we were happy to see family and friends on the way and the way back. We met Birc's parents and his sister and her kids down there. Thanks for a wonderful trip, Nana and Gran!! We love you!

Stopped to see my cousin Stephie and her kiddos. We had the best evening and Savannah is still talking about "her Maxwell" and when can we play with him again?!

We stopped on the way back to see one of my besties, Melissa, in Baton Rouge and saw Mike the Tiger! (Both statue and real tiger!)

Disney!

Grandad called us on a Wednesday afternoon and asked if we wanted to go to Disney World "tomorrow" and of course we said, SURE!! It was an awesome time, really the best vacation I had been on in years. It was so last-minute and therefore no time for me to stress over details or packing or cleaning the house. We just went! 4 glorious days in the Happiest Place on Earth! Thanks a million times over, Grandad!
