Help from friends please!

[sorry no pictures today!]
So, I am breaking in on the bio stuff [maybe never to return?] and need some help.  I've been on the lookout for a rug for Savannah's room and cannot find one I'm in love with.  I recently thought I found what I wanted after ordering a swatch, but it came in and I just shipped it back today because it was LIME green.  I am wanting a 5X8 rug, in a soft green color.  Color names have usually been something along the lines of leaf, sage, tarragon, and 'light green'.  I think I really want it to be a solid, but I am open to other suggestions.  I also don't want to break the bank on this one, since I'm sure the rug will get it's fair share of wear and tear and stains and just everything in the world on it.  I anticipate having to replace it with a new rug in a couple [or 5] years.  Happy shopping!

[here are a couple I've found that I kind of like]

The next thing I need help with is for the moms: Birc and I are going to register this weekend.  What are your 2 or 3 MUST-HAVE items from being a first time mama?  That way I'll be sure to get it on the wish list.  Happy Tuesday!

The swaddling blankets with velcro to hold them closed, good bottles (they're worth the extra $2), and Bose Noise-Cancelling Headphones.

Definitely swaddle! swaddle! swaddle! (Kiddopotamus, Halo, etc.)

Mini Baby Embry Boards (Babies R us has them). Savannah's nails will be long and sharp. Or if you are brave enough I recommend using a baby nail clippers that have a handle for adults. Much easier to use!

Good diaper rash cream. Triple Paste worked really really well for us.

Aquaphor and Boudreaux's baby kisses

I'll keep an eye out for rugs. Both above are cute!
