She puts just everything she can in her mouth, and loves chewing on her hands and feet. We didn't weigh her on her 5 month birthday, but I think she was at about 16 or 16 1/2 pounds because now she's 17 pounds. I have no idea how long she is either, but I do know all her outfits get too short before they get too small around her middle, on her arms, or legs. She is going to have a long torso!
C'mere Dumbo!
Gotcha!
As you can see, the 'everything's going into her mouth' was NOT an understatement. You'll see more examples below. SCM is loving hanging out with her CC every day while I go to work, and I love that my mom is getting this time with her. It is special for both of them.
I think Savannah's colic is mostly gone, and it is so nice most of the time. Unfortunately, just about the time it has left, 'stranger danger' has happened! She is having some serious separation anxiety if Birc or I or my mom aren't holding her which is just no fun for us or anyone else. Does this pass quickly? Because she's headed to daycare in 1 week! She is sleeping much better [knock on wood] and is mostly sleeping thru the night (about 9 or 10 hours straight, and then for another 2 or 3 hours) which is just glorious. If we could only get her to sleep that well in her crib. She goes from the crib, to the swing, to the nap nanny, to anything she'll sleep in each night! It just varies from night to night, but she is seeming to get stuffy in her nose when she sleeps flat on her back or side in the crib, any suggestions for that? We've got a humidifier I could plug in.
Mama, please can we be finished?
Savannah is getting more and more fun and Birc and I are so lucky to have her here with us. We get tired and it gets tough when we don't get enough sleep, but we are always so thankful for her and just love having her here with us. We can't wait to see what the next month brings!

She is getting so BIG. It was great to have her in Searcy this weekend!
I would definitely plug that humidifier in. Maxwell sleeps with his on almost every night and it definitely makes a difference in his breathing/nose. Adorable baby girl!!
