Walker at 10 Months

Seriously I have never met a happier baby than Walker. He is so happy and loves to laugh and smile and giggle at everything. At 10 months (where is time going?!?) he is just almost into everything. (He's consumed 2 straw wrappers, half a napkin, and choked on a tag from a teddy bear-y'all he puts everything in his mouth-I have to stay on my toes) He is scooting and pushing himself around and even pulling up on everything. He's still not too motivated to crawl but he might. We will see! He's eating about 30-35 oz of soy formula every day and eating 2 jars of baby food and 1 baby yogurt, along with puffs and yogurt melts and other small table food items we give him to try. He's not really great at eating solid things still, he gags on a lot of stuff and has actually thrown up a few times in order to get a puff or something out of his mouth. It's odd but hopefully he gets the hang of it soon. Walker is great at baby food and yogurt but the things he has to chew he struggles with.

He weighs in at a whopping 22.7 pounds and is 27 inches long with a head measuring 19.5. He's actually on the growth chart as of now which we are over the moon about!! He's clearly up in weight a bit and his head is huge but at least his length is moving in the right direction. He's wearing size 4 diapers, and 12 and 18 month clothes. His torso is just so long than nothing buttons otherwise!

Walker loves to play with Savannah and he loves to babble with her. He can say dada, byebye, baba (for bottle), hot, lala, and some other random sounds. He definitely associates baba for bottle and dada for Birc (he actually calls me that too sometimes) but I'm waiting to hear a "mama"!! When I say, 'Walker, say mama!' He just grins and giggles before he gives me a big hug. I'll take it for now ;). He is a big hugger, laying his head on shoulders and grabbing around necks. It is so sweet.

Right now his schedule is waking up around 8 and napping once around noon for 2 hours or more and then another catnap around 4:00 for under an hour. He goes to bed around 8:15 and wakes up once to eat around 4:30 which we are currently trying to get him to stop doing. (Which is SO hard btw). If we have to wake him up earlier than 8 then he takes a little morning catnap too. I would call him overall an excellent sleeper, I feel very lucky and thankful.

Now for pictures of my sweet baby boy!!
