Walker Update

My big one year old had his checkup and shots 😢 last week. He is 24.8 pounds, 28 inches long, and his head is 20 inches around. He's a big boy for sure! He's on the length growth chart (2-4%) so we will take it! His weight is 90% and head is off the charts, almost doubling the length of the entire curve. He's doing great with all of his milestones and we are in the clear to start whole milk slowly. I am not in a big rush to end the bottles, since he was 2 months early, and Aaron said he would be fine with a slow progression. He's checked off all the things a 1 year old should be doing and I am happy to hear that. He also got released from the special delivery program he was in (due to him being a preemie) with our health insurance after passing all his milestones and turning one year.

I just can't say enough how proud I am of Walker and all he does so well! He is such a smart and loving boy and has the best smile. He is such a fun and laid back tiny person. He loves his sleep, sleeping 12 hours every night and a 2-3 hour nap every afternoon. He's really predictable and loves his schedule (can't really believe he and Savannah are related) and is only unhappy when he is very hungry or very sleepy. We love you sweet boy!!
Unfortunately he wasn't thrilled with Uncle Aaron holding him after his shots. Haha!

Walker continues to teach his Grandad how to be laid back and have fun. We are so blessed with Walker in the family!
