We had a great weekend in the Morledge household! Friday night, I had some much-needed girl time with some of my besties at Big Orange (awesome burger, salad, and shake restaurant) and continued on with it Saturday morning when Anna and I went for pedicures. SO relaxing and fun! Then Birc and I hung out all afternoon and evening with Savannah and rented some redbox movies. [continuing the relaxation] Sunday was a busy day, though. I am the volunteer director for the Kindergarten kids choir at St. James and we were 'performing' in the 8:30 worship service. That meant my little family all had to be at church by 8:00-the earliest we've had to be anywhere since SCM's arrival-and we made it with a few minutes to spare! [pat on the back for us] My kiddos did superb, and we even got to go to Sunday School since SCM was still sleeping. Then we came home and got ready to see CC and Grandad who were coming into town so we could all go to Anna and Aaron's big event, Soup Sunday.
All in all a great weekend since none of us are sick, no one is crying NON-STOP, we had moments of relaxation and yet still stuff to do, AND the weather was nice. Savannah has really started turning a corner and I am thinking she is getting over this colic business. They crying isn't all the time anymore, and we are actually able to get smiles out of her a lot!
Savannah is excited because we're gearing up to celebrate somebody's birthday who is VERY SPECIAL in this house on Wednesday! YAY!

What a day full of fun it was!!
Soup Sunday was fabulous and it apparently was a big success. Anna and Aaron put on a fun fundraiser.
And who else thinks that Savannah's smiles are better than girl scout cookies?
