Words Words

It's Spring Break here this week which means I work longer/weird hour days and it also means Savannah's daycare is CLOSED.  Yep. closed.  So CC has been here the past two days keeping Savannah company while I am at work!

Savannah says lots of words these days.  I keep meaning to write them down so I know.  I'll put the word sound she says the way she says it and then put what she means beside it.

Mama
Daddy
Hiii!
Hey!
Bas (Boys-the cats)
Daddo ( Caddo)
Daydence (Cadence)
C-Chee (CC)

Tan-Yu (Thank You)

That is all I can think of and WOW she says a lot!

Now to work on her new favorite thing: hitting mama and daddy in the face.  It's not going over well with Birc and me, obviously, but she is not really grasping the concept of "no" (Or more likely, ignoring it because she knows very well what it means).  We say "no mam" and she does it again and again and again. We pretend to cry and seem hurt and she does it again. We put her down to show her she hurt us and she is doing a "no no" but the next time we're holding her and she doesn't like something ("Savannah, let's go get a new diaper for you) she hits us again.  I'm sure she'll stop one of these days.

She's about to hit Birc.  she didn't want to 'say cheese' apparently.

Almost Friday.  Thank the Lord :)

My new favorite Savannah-word is amen because she pairs it with prayer hands. And she says a definite more-more with the extra emphasis of sign language accompanying the spoken word. How many animal sounds does this girl do???

Go Savannah! She definitely talks more than Nate does now and possibly more than Delaney did then. Ha! :-)
