Last week and weekend wrap-up

So I just ran out of energy at the end of each day to blog but we have stayed busy and had fun doing it! Birc and I had a great dinner out to Brave New Restaurant for our anniversary last week and Savannah did not wake up one time for the babysitter or even know we had left! Praise the Lord for answering that prayer.

Birc went out of town for work for 4 nights and we really missed him! I sent him lots of pics like these so he didn't miss us too much:

outfits like this are just SO. ADORABLE. right now on Savannah!   I  managed to find at least 3 of these at the last Rhea Lana consignment sale.  (well, probably CC found them, she's a better hunter than me!)

lately she has been pointing to her smile when I ask her to show me her smile.  It's adorable! I think it comes from one of our songs we sing about "Cause He gave me a heart, and He gave me a smile..." and Savannah knows all the motions to it :)

Anna came over and kept Savannah on Saturday morning while I had a choir rehearsal since Birc was out of town and I have no pics of the two of them but I know Anna took some so maybe I can snag one from her.  They had a super time and Savannah was worn out from all the playing they did and went right to sleep when I got home! Thanks Anna-I hope you come back again!

Birc got home late Saturday night (almost Sunday morning) and we went to church but had a pretty eventful time there as I got overheated and light-headed feeling in my choir robe and had to step out of the service and go home early.  Second trimesters are tricky because you think you feel great and then all of a sudden out of the blue you feel like you're gonna pass out or throw up or die and it always surprises me and scares me because I am not used to feeling bad anymore after the first trimester.  Speaking of Baby #2, I will post a belly pic later this week.  I keep forgetting to take them and since Birc's been out of town I have no photographer :)

Sweet girl after church.  Making a huge fit so we will help her hold Day-dence :) She loves her kitty brothers!
