1 year ago, Birc and I returned from Izzy's on the night of the 5th for our last date as a family of two before going to bed (I didn't sleep a wink!) and getting up the next morning to get induced to meet our sweet baby girl! It has been the longest and shortest year of my life at the same time and it has been full of fun, tears, joy, pain, love, anxiety, and mostly smiles and laughter. I love my Savannah Cate SO MUCH I can't even describe it! I'll tell you all about our birthday excitement ahead Thursday night and Saturday afternoon. Happy First Birthday, Savannah! I love you so much!

Amy and Birc, I am so proud of both of you for the wonderful job y'all are doing as loving, caring parents. You are providing Savannah a warm and loving family atmosphere in which to grow. I am especially proud of my granddaughter for being so pretty and smart and I love the joy and happiness she brings to me and so many other people.
