Well we were rudely awoken Tuesday morning around 1 AM with a very loud barking sound. Come to find out, it was our daughter coughing like a SEAL. Poor thing has Croup. Very luckily, our pediatrician takes our phone calls at that time of night as we were both nervous she was having an asthma attack (I have asthma and am always on the lookout for any signs or symptoms that I have passed it onto Savannah which I pray I haven't) as she was wheezing so badly in between coughs. Also very luckily, CC responds to texts at that time of night and was here in a jiffy yesterday around 10 AM so I could still go to work. Since Dr. Uncle Aaron put her on a steroid, she was a bit of a pill for CC at times on Tuesday but they were both still smiling when I got home at the end of the day so it couldn't have been horrible. Here's to hoping that this family is sleeping well and not up for 5 hours like the night before. And here are two pictures from Tuesday night playing. We've gotten out every toy that we own at least twice because our sweet girl has SO. MUCH. ENERGY. with the steroid in her system. Anna also stopped by to provide some entertainment so Birc and I could sit on the couch without having to move much (we are obv. not ready for baby #2 to arrive and lose sleep again) and Savannah loved having her here to entertain. They did some dancing, reading, feeding baby dolls, puzzles, and probably more I didn't even see.

I think I could use some of Dr. Son-In-Law Uncle Aaron's steroids, too, if it would give me half of Savannah's energy! I would type more, but I'm too tired...
Always love being with Savannah, even in a less than optimal situation. With all of the baby practice today, Savannah will be ready and in good form for helping out with Walker Bircham Morledge!
Hope she feels better soon!
